It is that time of year, the weather cools, the air is crisp...and flu season begins. We want to enjoy all those fall festivities so we want to stay healthy. If you have followed us and know about our products, we discuss how everything has a frequency. When your frequency is high, your system tends to function at its best. But when lifestyle habits, stress, lack of sleep, or poor diet pulls your personal frequency lower, your body may not be able to defend itself as well and you may become more susceptible to colds, flu, and other illnesses.
Now it is important to note: wearing a Miracle Band doesn't mean you will never catch a cold, but it does help support your body's natural frequency and overall balance, making it one piece of a larger wellness lifestyle. Pairing the Miracle Band with immune-boosting habits can give you extra support this season.
Immune-Boosting Tips for Cold & Flu Season
Here are a few natural ways to strengthen your immune system and keep your body’s frequency at its best:
Prioritize Sleep
Your immune system does a lot of its repair work while you sleep. Create calming bedtime routines like reducing screen time before bed and eliminating as much EMF exposure as possible by unplugging devices overnight and consider placing a shungite piece on your nightstand. The end of the day would be a perfect time to reflect and reset and focus on the positive moments, which helps calm the mind and support a healthy frequency. Aim for 7-9 hours of restful sleep each night.
Stay Hydrated
Dehydration can stress the body and lower your natural defenses. Even though it’s colder outside, your body still needs plenty of water to function at its best. In the winter months, we often don’t feel as thirsty, but dry indoor air and heavier meals can dehydrate us faster than we realize. Staying hydrated helps balance your body’s frequency, supports your immune system, and flushes out the toxins. Try sipping herbal teas, warm lemon water, and keep your water bottle filled throughout the day to stay nourished and hydrated.
Nourishing Foods
Certain foods and herbs are known for their immune-boosting power like lemon, broth, ginger, garlic, honey, and turmeric to name a few. One of my favorites is the Honeybomb from wellness creator @thejenjones. It is a great recipe to keep stocked in the fridge during this season.
Thejenjones Honeybomb Recipe
-
2 tbsp grated ginger
-
1 tbsp grated turmeric
-
1 tsp minced garlic
-
3 cracks of black pepper
-
1 pinch of cayenne pepper
-
1 tsp Ceylon cinnamon (make sure it is Ceylon cinnamon)
Cover with raw unfiltered honey and I put mine in the refrigerator but she says you can leave it on the counter too. Put 1 tbsp and put it in warm water or you can take 1 tbsp directly 3 times a week.
This cold and flu season doesn’t have to slow you down. By maintaining your body’s frequency, nourishing it with immune-boosting foods, staying hydrated, and creating supportive bedtime rituals, you can give yourself the best defense possible.
Stay well, stay balanced, and keep your frequency high.
